Won't entertain this, but they moved on from Melissa Barrera for any good or bad reason and she did as well. That boycott campaign on social medias is not working like 99% of those.

Was 3 the first one you watched or something? It has the worst performances, most forgettable characters, messiest script, and no gore. The only good thing about that movie is Syd getting chased on the movie set

I was going to say something similar. Initially, on principle alone, I was going to wait until Scream 7 came to digital and then torrent it, but I have seen some vile and regressive behavior from this movement. For example, that a certain gay actor in their crosshairs deserves to be dehumanized and "hate-crimed". For no good reason, I might add.

My donations to hunger and medical aid will not end, but I am done with the performative, purity culture aspect of all this. I'm seeing this movie opening night.

I confess, I’m not a huge fan of gore. But 3 has easily the most memorable characters (after 1), imo.

1 is the blueprint
4 is a breath of fresh air (after a needed break)
2 is a forgettable copy-paste
3 is the campiest, most meta & most fun
(borderline Scooby Doo vibes)
