I do agree with the rotation argument but at the same time it's pretty clear to me she feels the proudest about MAYHEM so I definitely see her including several tracks in future setlists apart from Die With A Smile and Abracadabra (which are already a must and forever songs). She already retired Telephone, so...

I initially thought this, but having seen Mayhem performed twice live this year, it's really crazy how much excitement and hype the crowd gets for Disease when it comes on. It surprised me, along with how much hype Applause gets!

I think Disease being the first single from Mayhem and the first song on the album makes it more recognizable to the GP than we would assume.

I feel like she picks up on these reactions and takes them into consideration (this is also why I think LoveGame has ALWAYS been on the setlist... huge reaction every time.)

I think there's plenty of Gaga songs that did well in other parts of the world enough for her to add them into setlists either permanently or to go on a continent by continent basis. For example You & I was bigger in the US than it was here, we were still bumping TEOG for the rest of 2011 atp.
 

Can't speak for the whole of Europe ofc, but having lived through EVERY era in the UK sometimes people talk about certain Gaga related things on here and i'm just like huh? Yeah data is helpful like airplay, sales etc but I go more off of what the average person I speak to whether it be family member or colleague says. Like ROM for example was absolutely inescapable over here in 2020 and then when clubs reopened properly in summer 2021 it had a resurgence. Same for all the music Dua Lipa had out at the time.

Abra and only Abra. Which is unfortunate because Disease is incredible. But I’m sure she’s getting the Perfect Illusion treatment.

I hope she finally retires LoveGame, Garden of Eden can replace it. I can also see Vanish Into You replacing TEOG on piano in the future.
