Eh, we have an established relationship with Bobby, it's not like some random fan sent her a gift.

Obviously Gaga doesn't support ICE and obviously Gaga doesn't have to do performative instagram posts to "prove it." Oviously Mr. Rogers cover is HER way of sharing her message and love for our "neighbours" from across the borders.

The only thing that makes me not spiral at the stupidity on this site is that I HAVE to assume the people crashing out this hard are chronically online and have no recognition of reality and the real world. Because it's unhealthy how nuts some of you guys sound

It's not about "proving it", it's about condemning what happened currently. It's not something for internet points or cool factor. The demands for her to speak out on it is valid.

I was gonna post my actual opinion but what's even the point. I fear critical thinking skills on this site are hard to find at the moment and I'm just tired of banging my head into the brick wall of indignant stans who will defend anything and everything and don't understand why many of us became fans in the first place and why we care so much about her specifically speaking out.

The criticism was valid and honestly still is. We wouldn't rant if we didn't care about what she says or does.

Anyway, I hope she actually uses her platform in a way that's both visible (which this hardly is) to do something constructive (which this really isn't) whenever she's ready to join the rest of us in society again.

And I hope by the time the next crisis hits, she doesn't wait until the hardest battles are fought to decide acknowledge the problem.

ICE and DHS leadership are backing down or being removed from power already. It's important to keep on their necks but still. Good on her for finally vocalizing a specific rebuke of the nazis in control of her government, I guess.

Now I just wonder if she's gonna actually do any work or if it'll just be a 2/3 minute chat at the shows and a Mr. Rogers song.

I do get that, I just feel like people know she obviously condemns it, so I don't know why people are getting so angry about it. If she was someone who was morally ambiguous, I'd get it. But like, it's pretty damn clear she doesn't agree. It just feels like being upset about something for the sake of being upset about something...

While I find it a bit controversial the fact that you’re against billionaires but still got 2 or 3 dates for the tour (maybe I’m just bitter because I can’t afford an effin ticket), I really do appreciate your perspective on those things most of the times, well said

Well, I'm human and allowed to be a hypocrite  I give everyone that grace, even Gaga. Which is why I'll never hate her regardless of how much she disappoints me.

It's the same story as usual though. If I was going to these shows alone I would stand on pure business and keep my coins for artists like Billie.

I only went to the Chromatica Ball three times 'cause I got to travel to DC and LA (and Miami ) and take @SharkmanthaC and @ChicaSkas and my grandma.

I'm only doing the Mayhem Ball three times 'cause I get to take @ChicaSkas twice in LA and a couple more people who've become really important to me. One especially  but also his friend who went into total shock when we surprised her with a VIP ticket to see Gaga. And that's what it's really about

...and yeah, it's her best album so I selfishly wanna see it live, I'm only human
