Jessie Ware has continued to put out disco music as well since then.  Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso was a very modernised disco influenced track. Dua Lipa's 3rd album was disco-funk influenced in part. 

Its not gone away for 5 years. Its remained relevant in music in the intervening years.

Mayhem isn't a year old and in terms of GP impact, none of its disco tracks have landed. Its just nonsense to act as if it created a disco renaissance.

Also let’s not forget Kyle has made nothing BUT disco music for most of her career, plus Sophie Ellis Bextor. And COADF by Madonna was a very modernised disco album.

Gaga has a chance to do with LG8 what she did with The Fame, take a rising in popularity genre and take it to the next level

People **** all over disco and I think it's because 

A) it's "cool" to think disco sucks 

B) they think *all* disco sounds like Stayin Alive, Disco Inferno, and YMCA

Not to mention much of Gaga's early career and biggest songs are **heavily** disco-inspired.

I feel like with Moroder she’d probably lean more into the Bad Girls album style. Gaga has the perfect vocal range for songs like Donna Summer’s hits mixed with Pet Shop Boys in the 80s

Sorry but even Gaga / mayhem was LATE AF to the disco / funk sound.  Bruno mars been doing it for over a decade , dua lipa got away w it in 2021

Mayhem isn’t THAT disco yeah it has funk in there but it’s mostly influenced by rock music from the 80s. Also a lot of disco is synths and electronic, I Feel Love for example.

Just Dance is also technically a disco song because it has a Four on The Floor beat
