I think Beyonce likely would be influenced by prominent black rock stars like Little Richard, Jimmy Hendrix, and Prince as well as others like Betty Davis. Probably also pay homage to The Beatles(Paul McCartney collab), Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks collab?), and maybe The Rolling Stones. I could also see her doing a cover or collab of an Alanis song since she has covered an Alanis song on a lot of her tours. If it sounds like anything on Mayhem, I think it will sound more like Killa than Abra or PC.

Gaga already confirmed that was supposed to be Aura...she already wrote a script for it and everything but Interscope went with Applause so

Nothing about that treatment signaled it was a Telephone sequel imo

It had the same director and Beyoncé was in it so I think it probably was, plus she said she performed the sequel at SwineFest and MANiCURE was part of the set. Imo people only think Aura because she says the intro  “I killed my former and…” and the original intro was “I killed my boyfriend” beyond that there’s no evidence for it I think.

MANiCURE has more evidence from the song theme and the treatment for the video with the celeb cast.

I more so meant a Telephone sequel for MAYHEM specifically. She hinted at it a lot during the beginning of the era, but nothing ever came to fruition. I feel like she planned for it to happen, but for one reason or another, it fell through.
