this seems like a trend now, first Chappell with the giver, now Sabrina with manchild, i guess their teams see a benefit trying to appeal to that demographic, not sure how well that works in the long run tho, especially with new artists.

When gaga released Joanne she was already an established force on pop with worldwide recognition.

There’s no way these singles are being submitted / accepted / nominated in Country Performance. The occasional album track from a pop act might sneak into Country Song, but not singles with massive Pop airplay. The Giver spent 1 week on Country Radio at #60.

It seems like some of these Pop acts are trying to get into country, it almost feels like they're doing it because of someone like Morgan Wallen.

Only one who managed to do it successfully and made it her own was Beyonce.

They are eligible and they will try. Whether they get nominated is a different story, but they’ll be out of Gaga’s way as soon as they are submitted as country. Whatever happens after that doesn’t matter to us
