Weekend 2 is the one, peaking on radio(or rising) and the highest stream boost, should drop physicals, so it can attempt to go top 10 in the US. I think it can happen if they drop physicals and discount on iTunes.

i agree, physicals right after weekend 2 plus discounted on itunes plus some acoustic version plus a vinyl with the remix and acoustic released might secure even a top 5 spot

Right, which is ridiculous for many reasons, not limited to 1) the song was just over 2 months old at the time of weekend 1 vs. lifespan of 3.5-4 months (+) for the avg. single, 2) it’s growing on US Radio and strong enough on streaming that the boost it got with exposure was easily predictable, 3) she hasn’t had a solo1!1! Pop single charting for 10 weeks in the Top 40 in forever- the same crowd that refuses to call Abracadabra a hit and demanding another single will have their panties in a twist writing essays on GoE/VIY/HBDUWM’s inevitable underperformance.

And, all this talk of it not being a hit in the US is ridiculous. Yes, it got higher peaks in Europe, but UK (for example) has several rules to keep their chart fresher and increase turnover compared to the US, and regardless, a song with 10 weeks in the top 40 of the BB100 / 2 inside the Top 20 and #13 peak is a hit. Period. That’s a consistent presence of over 2 months despite album bombs, new releases, and older, Radio-fueled songs.

We might be looking at a top 10 hit after weekend 2 if her team plays their cards right. physicals, an acoustic version, the cirkuit remix maybe a vinyl:fatcat:

After Miss Abras slayage on the charts we need the next single to be Vanish Into You or Garden of Eden with a music video (short film) that includes GoE, Perfect Celebrity and ViY. Then later in July we need the summer smash HBDYWM to take over, and then finish off the first era with Zombieboy/Shadow Of a Man during Halloween. Then she can go on with the deluxe version at the end of the year/beginning of next year :usrs:

I think we need to accept fact that Abracadabra is top 20 hit in the US, while a top 10 in Europe. And that's okay.

Million Reasons was a US hit, but not anywhere else. Markets may differ from each other.

It’s projected to go top 30, why do we think it could go top 10 after the second show? The surprise effect won’t be there and it would need a huge increase, right?

The coachella affect is still going on and her songs are rising organically. The first show was heavily praised after which many more people would be interested in the second show who did not watch the first. After that if her team plays their cards right with itunes discount, physicals and an acoustic version and monsters arrange buying and streaming parties we have a chance at top 10
