If you made Joanne and Chromatica shorter albums by subtracting songs they might've been better received too. But who can say because none of these albums actually exist. Playing hypotheticals like this is in no way conducive to this discussion or the subjects at hand. This. The album is 8 tracks long because of the concept: Fear of Love Fear of Men Fear of Sex Fear of Death Fear of Fame Fear of commitment Fear of addiction Fear of truth Whew. A true body of dark artistry. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

Of course these are legendary songs. I am not talking about those alone but the album as a whole. And "the pop bible" truly is BTW if we are giving titles like that

Ziggy 11,481
I mean lbr people usually say either TF Chromatica or Joanne is worst But it isn’t gonna be TF bc it has EVERY initial hit and the deep cuts still hit it’s not gonna be chromatica bc it got better reviews for its cohesion. So yeah it’s Joanne. That doesn’t make it necessarily bad but…it’s def her worst imo

She probably made a LOT of songs (we know she did) was sifting through them and then during the selection process realized the kind of album story she wanted to tell. It’s artistic, still, but I don’t think she went in as intentional as some think to make the specific fears. It feels like she realized the vision of where she was at that time in compiling the songs and selected accordingly.

It also has original music and the songs from the movie. Tbf most of harlequin is covers whereas ASIB is basically all original music.
