Chromatica did 274k.

For references of other artists:

- Harry’s House did 521k

- Hurry Up Tomorrow did 490k

- Short N Sweet did 362k

- Hit Me Hard And Soft did 339k

- So Close To What (Tate not being a main pop girl yet) did 177k

Even Eternal Sunshine’s 227k is a lukewarm amount considering Ariana’s streaming force.

200-225k for Mayhem is not horrible, but given the hype and monthly listeners it should be pulling at least close to 265k-280k. Hoping the prediction goes up.

It certainly deserves to do better than Chromatica. Hopefully it rises up with the SNL promo and additional this week

And Mayhem has Die With A Smile? And a Grammy win, and loads of PR and promo that Chromatica did not have. They should be pulling similar amounts.

Ya’ll need to stop using Eternal Sunshine as a reference. 227k is a lukewarm amount considering Ariana’s streaming force.

200-225k for Mayhem is not horrible, but given the hype and monthly listeners it should be pulling at least close to 265k-280k (I suspect it will go up to at least 220-250k as HDD tends to low ball). The reality is that Gaga isn’t as attractive to the GP and her numbers tend to fall into the lower bound of her contemporaries.

Chromatica had a two top 5 hits by the time the album came out and also had tour bundles included, so not that surprising it was so high. If Mayhem was able to have tour bundles (and there was actually a tour announced) these numbers would likely be more similar.

It will be her seventh no. 1 album in the US right?

Yes it will be.

It will join Born This Way, ARTPOP, Cheek To Cheek, Joanne, A Star Is Born, and Chromatica

Riley

she should add Kill For Love and Can't Stop The High on streaming to give it a lil mid-week boost

Spoiler

the way i dont even know how these projections work.... does streaming even come into play for this? or is it strictly physical sales?

Yay I’m so psyched for GaGa!  Does that make every album except the fame debut at number 1?

Positions did 174,000 first week, so actually ES did better in comparison

I respect you guys who care about these numbers but I just can't understand it

It's like telling me how many people in the world read a DC comic today. Yes I'm a DC fanboy but I couldn't care less how many are reading :toofunny: It... doesn't matter :bradley:
