So… thoughts on Abracadabra?

It is good song, I do like that it marries pop with more alternative electronic sounds but does it gracefully and feels genuine. A huge step up from Diesease easily. That first single was a choice let’s put it that way.

Im not sure if the general public will pick it up, but there’s chance for that. It’s been a long time since her biggest hits, over 10 years actually if we don’t count the tiny reign of rain on me in 2020 eventually falling off.

as per my experience with the song - I enjoy it so far, but still unsure how much more I will replay it . It is  8/10 imho, diesease was like 2/10

Abracadabra has already outviewed diseases first day I’m pretty sure! Hoping it debuts higher than disease despite being released on a Sunday

the song has grown on me so much already this morning!

The video is definitely her top 3 of all time. Better than all BTW, ARTPOP, Chromatica and Joanne ones.

I’m so surprised about how dancey it actually is, I thought it would be more heavy beat mid tempo sorta like Disease

The bridge??? It’s glorious

it’s so Gaga almost like in a meta way, I’m obsessed

So, is the Siouxsie - Spellbound sample true? I've seen some people commenting about it but I can't hear it

Yes, the prechorus

It's so Gaga, don't know how to put it into words. It just works!

As a God fearing Christian, usually I am afraid of magic (because of the sin) but this song is just metaphorical enough for it to be enjoyable. I think this is the kind of music they played in the background at the Salem Witch Trials right as they set the women on fire/chucked them in the river

I love it but I can see non-fans really going to town on the pre-chorus being bad

Edit: not the pre chorus, the agoogaga bit:derpga:

It is just Gaga on Gaga on Gaga. The lyrics, the diverse influences (eurodance, glam rock, industrial pop, house), the hooks, THAT BRIDGE!!! I literally couldn't ask for more. The only little thing I would like to point is that I miss the BOO BITCH from the Paris snippet, but I guess she wanted it to be a clean, radio/ TikTok friendly song, I'm not mad

It's sooo catchy! So much more than disease (and I thought that was) :fthis:

I really like it, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed the chorus is basically made-up words.

The video is INCREDIBLE.
