Kayi 979
Ok, now I will all delivers you the truth about this album... It will be the fourth time that I make a topic about LG7 and Zombified, but now that I saw the Rolling Stones interview I have a clearer vision of what will be LG7. First LG7 songs communicate to each others. Disease is the one that opens the "conversation". "Dance in the Shadow" is a reaction to "Notorious Being" that is itself a reaction to "Abracadabra" which is also a reaction to "Zombified", etc... ... Disease is about her inner chaos. The way she's a hard worker who use art to heal but at the same time feels weaker. Gaga's little voices tell her to work cause it will cure her pain. The antidote generally comes from the poison itself. The music video is clearly cyclical cause when she purge herself she always have to deal with new problems. That's why the background looks familiar, that Gaga is stuck between houses and can't escape. It's a meta-song about she creates her art and how chaotic it is. It is a good way to introduce the themes of LG7. Zombified is about how she has to fight now against her own artistic visions. Def Jam tried to restraint her freedom on her works and interscope sometimes didn't let her do her choices by herself. That can be a real pain for an artist. The Gaga from the top is "zombified" she has scars on her body. Look at her elbow. Look at her eyes, they're pale almost white like if she was a zombie. There's a light that truly highlights her gaze. Her tone is also super white. And she has her hands tied...UH OH GUYS IT MATCHES WITH THOSE HYPOTHETICAL LYRICS OF THE SNIPPETS : "Now I can see straight but my hands are tied I could be alive, I'm just zombified Now I can see straight with the demon's eyes I could be alive, I'm just zombified" The demon's eyes can have many meaning but here is mine; The alienation due to a pact that she signed with a powerful entity (a label). It will give her power but now she's their artist so they can tell her what she's allowed to do or not. It is an obvious ref to the pact with the devil (when Internet used to say that some artist are "Illuminati"). I think that there is a Faust's pact reference. Yep the LG7 MV are probably following the same alter-egos. Abracadabra is a magic spell that can cure disease and invocate a spirit. That's how she invocate her Gaga's persona that will be her cure but also a sort of spirit that will protect her. If I'm not wrong, she says "Freedom" at the end of the snippet. Notorious Being is a kind of elevation of Gaga as a legend, there's nothing negative in this title cause she feels glorious. "The Ah-ah-ah-ah" sounds like it's her transforming into a divine being... Notorious Being is a complete creature, there's no duality. But I think she will add some dark elements and maybe irony about the shallowness of Hollywood. I think that DITS is about the fight between her popstar persona and her real self. Her popstar persona, is sometimes fake cause the medias and ppl says fake things about her (that is maybe the reason why Gaga talked again abt the hermaphrodite rumours). Sometimes the medias and ppl elevate her as a goddess which is biased too cause she's a human being... Sometimes she fake a British accent (she talked about this in her recent Vogue interview). She has to work on herself to not forget who she truly is. After the CBT film premiere she posted a poem on Insta, that resonate with the themes of the snippet from the CBT film : " A POEM FOR A MONSTER If you could walk with air under your feet You'd find imagination is complete With buoyancy and complicated turns With heartbreak always nudging us to yearn I found a way back to myself again With different tones, and metals I could bend I hope that you will love me in this way For who I am not then-but for today -LG " She posted this pic too : On this pic we see a girl with a car piece and a dress made of different pattern of tissues assembled together. The car piece looks like an armor. The poem + the photo screams : YAS GAGA ! YAS GAGA ! But also, that Stefani found a way back to herself. Not by becoming the same girl she used to be, no. But by accepting that she is a mature version of herself. Her artistic persona is her protector, it contains her joy and her sadness represented by this irregular pieces of her dress. She wants her fans, her friends, her family, the world, to accept that she's who she is now. She isn't defined by only one part of her life but by her many experiences. The link with the moon is that, moon has many phases. All of it's phases are beautiful but sometimes we can't see it fully. This fit to introspection themes. DITS is a powerful track, you can hear it in the snippet. This is very postmodernist themes guys, it's meta, it's ironic, it's theatrical, it's about transformation... A consecration of what Gaga built all of those years. Bonus : Girlfriend or Gimp of Garden is a song that leaked randomly and that we don't know where it comes from but we're glad that it exist. Idk if it is the continuity of "Notorious being". It has cvnt lyrics : I could be your girlfriend for the week-end And Gaga confirmed that it is on LG7 cause she posted these kinds of pics. She appears with Chrysanthemums one who's a dark red and one who's black. Generally we associate this flower to grief. She wears a dark outfit, very macabre and romantic. It looks like she's covered of lianas or brambles idk but the fact that all of her body is covered like that... Means that she died and she's buried ? But her eyes are fully opened so she's not. I think that Garden of Gimp or Girlfriend, talks about how love and lust can revive her. Metaphorically it means that she lost interest in something but passion helped her to find back this interest. Maybe it's for the fame. Or maybe it's for love cause yep she said that she thought that she would never find the love again until she met Michael Polansky. ... A gimp is someone who has a sexual submission to someone else, for those who didn't knew that (I didn't... ). Did she wrote this song to embarass Michael ? Like he's an introvert, he probably doesn't want the world to figure him like that kind of partner...? No, I'm joking, we all know that he co-written this song. ... We don't know how many songs there's on this album so it will be more complex than my little thread. Also I'm not a native English speaker so I probably did many grammatical mistakes but nvm Edited 2 hours ago by Kayi I'm here to take a break from university homeworks :/ 2
LittleMonster20 9,768
Brilliant post! I love the concept of all the songs being communicative towards each other, and it fits so well with the multiple personas seen in the Disease music video and single artwork. The Notorious Being and Dance In The Shadow concepts are so well thought out and it adds up so well with the poem. I’m so excited for this album!

Anderson123 35,701
I'm a bit lost with Zombified. Are there any leaks to this or info? The others I know where everything comes from but just wondering if Zombified is some fan made stuff.

The only thing we know for sure is it’s the song that plays on the radio in the disease video, the title however is purely speculative (but then again so are all the other ones we have, because we only heard short snippets of the songs- Think when we used to call Alejandro “Don’t Call My Name” when a demo snippet leaked)
gagzus 14,526
I like the concept however I think this record is gonna be her most simple one in terms of subject matter; more about love, sex and relationships. With influences from all the artists she’s loved growing up and in her adulthood. I think all the songs are gonna be about Michael, her new found self assurance, learning to deal with fame in adulthood etc
Arcanum 4,906
A beautiful perspective. Tbh I need the Mustang sample to be real and have a connection as well with the whole album body. I can't get over that bass along with her spoken siren ways : "Mustang! On the road... Can't be tamed" I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.
gagzus 14,526
Also I think she low-key confirmed in the RS interview that there’s gonna be Stevie Wonder and Pink Floyd influence from saying there’s funkier tracks and there’s also mellow ones
