Would love to find an alternative to the original Haus Labs products by the way.

I’ve been searching too, it feels like it’s hard to match up to the belladonna and “sluttiness” of the perfume for me. I’ve never smelled anything similar since but I would imagine there’ll be a similar dupe from Tom Ford I’ll try one of there’s.

Slightly off-topic; it always makes me cackle that in hindsight she obviously refused to do it unless they could make a black perfume, thinking they would never be able to do it, and when they did she was probably like; well sh*t… now I have to actually do it :rip: then she tried to turn it into a chance to make a Scheiße music video which never even came out RIP

Really? Imo these two smell nothing alike.

It smells like what I remember Fame smelling like, though it has been years since I ran out of my bottle.

i imagine any copyrights that ended regarding the project were not renewed and the patent for the bottle was sold off for some black panther fragrance years later

mother, what must i do?

Didn’t Gaga say she didn’t want to do perfumes?

EDIT: Eau de Gaga ate Fame imo

she used fragrances as an example of being used as a cash cow at the time, she wasn't into it back then because she felt used to generate profit for others

i could see her happily bringing back fragrances into this version of haus labs where she's very much in control and involved, since it's all on her terms

I'm really hoping Haus Labs launches fragrances at some point. It seemed like she was very much involved in the making and marketing of FAME, to me it made total sense that she would venture into perfume, much more so than makeup in a way. I was surprised by her subsequent statements about hating doing it, tho it did seem her heart was much less into it during Eau de Gaga.

It seems like she was disillusioned by the massive success of the perfume mainly profiting other people, which is also something that Coco Chanel experienced when launching N°5. Hopefully she gets to do it again on her own terms now she's at the head of her cosmetics company.
