Schwerk 6,994
All these years seeing Gaga live has been very memorable and meaningful to me. Also because visually she always brings it to the table. I always wondered why her tour interludes were so dark and powerful and cinematic, things many of her music video's these past 10 years were lacking. It kinda frustrated me tbh. I find it interesting how people keep saying Disease is a return to form, when this 'form', this dark side to her, was always present, but only for us fans to see during her live shows. Now she has revealed it to the whole world. Disease especially takes me back to the Joanne Tour. Trapped interlude: Applause interlude: Dripping face: I'm so happy to see these kind of visuals finally made it to a music video made for the general public. How do you guys feel about this? According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch 3 6
ThatsGossip111 211
I think the Joanne interludes are probably my favorite interludes she’s ever done

Lucas 24,166
Oh wow I never actually thought about this but it's true that her interludes are better VISUALLY than a lot of her music videos in the past, let's say, decade. Even her Coachella interludes that she only used once were extremely visually pleasing to watch... I mean, look at my PP! Bronco 5,954
Tour interludes by actual artists are always better than most music videos etc they put out. The main driver is that tours have waaay less "restrictions" on them as they're not really needing to appeal commercially at that point. The tickets are sold already. Which lets artists like Gaga & Madonna take bigger risks with touring concepts & visuals than with things that are often used as PR like music videos. Its great to see Gaga let loose from some of the shackles for Disease.
Orlam 144
I had a similar thought, but about the Chromatica Ball actually. To me, the single cover font seems very reminiscent of that aesthetic. Interesting to think it's been brewing for a while. 1
