Yeah but its black vinyl so any Lil Monster who's an audiophile or vinyl snob will salivate over this

since im wanting to get into vinyls, does the black vinyl really sound better than colored?

I'm a proud CD advocate and I'm just waiting for the CD revival to come around and make me cool again :messga: vinyl is a pain in the arse

Honestly the sound variations between the 2 aren't so pronounced that it matters to anyone who isn't being a little snobby about it. 

If you're using a basic record player then you aren't going to notice a difference unless the record is dirty/scratched/charged with static. 

If you have high end kit then you probably will notice the slight difference. 

But generally 180g black vinyl is better than 140g black vinyl. Most coloured vinyl is 140g generally but I don't notice a major difference between black & coloured vinyl unless the vinyl is split colour etc.

The only vinyl that is absolutely worse is picture discs due to the picture being an extra layer. But like picture discs are collector pieces not play pieces really lol

It's just business, the recording companies made an agreement or contract with stores so they can sell more records hence profits. There can be new tracks as sellion points for fans, or just different covers, and different color for vinyl

It's not just Target. Often times Walmart, Hot Topic, UO, Best Buy, among others also have their own versions too.
