Songs are topping the charts without music videos , albums are being released months after many singles have been put out. The music industry has changed so much. Look at Brat, it’s such a cultural phenomenon yet there’s barely any vids or songs charting from it. We need to let music be music and stop worrying about formulaic things that are literally out of our control. I don't think having the momentum for one song for many months is a thing anymore, look at Sabrina with her 3 singles or other artists casually dominating streaming charts. There also seems to be a gap between the lead single and album if that magazine interview is real. So right now end of 2024 is going to be LG7 lead single and Joker stuff, then February 2025 awards season and LG7 album.
