Couldn't agree more! The whole thing is just bizarre, especially because it seems like they're taking decisions that benefit Luke even if they're harmful to the era/Katy herself. Really weird

I honestly feel more sorry and concerned for younger acts like Doechii. Singers like her are the most vulnerable because they are still very unknown, super young, and on the brink of becoming the next breakout star. In these early stadiums in a career those sexual assaults are the most likely to happen, as it was the case in the past.

Not to make excuses for her, but Katy's team is clearly not on her side. They see her getting lashed and still double, triple-down on supporting Luke, instead of taking the obvious PR move of remaining silent. It's honestly shocking.

Absolutely disgusting. MTV also rewarded this nonsense indirectly. She made the choice to lean into her legacy with him, because she seemed to think the hits would keep coming. I am just glad the world said a big no thanks to this era.

All of these past months it seems like Katy is the one that has decided to work with him in a desperate attempt to do another Teenage Dream / Prism era with him but never crossed my mind the people behind her planning all of this to push Luke back into pop music and "clean" his name by working with one of the biggest pop girls so this works in their favor and more artists decide to work with him again.

Either way it's not working because the music is really bad and basic and no singles are sticking. It is suspicious with the obvious VMA Iconic Performance "win" when she was nowhere near close to the first spot but then the Vanguard and this praising Luke. So messy.
