It wasn't just SNL. She said she saw Gaga perform before she was famous and that she was super impressed by her talent even then. She actually repeated that during the now infamous interview (along with answering "no" when the interviewer asked if she felt Gaga was copying her, often forgotten).

Yes she made a joke out of the whole media controversy on her tour but that show segment was very tongue in cheek and made fun itself about the superficiality of being a pop star. People just don't get her humor is the problem. She invited Gaga to perform with her on that mash-up but Gaga refused. Again, often forgotten.

She had more beef with Katy and Nicki tbh and somehow this fanbase never talks about the times Gaga blasted them for copying her.
