DJWS did everything he could and I have a huge amount of love for that guy. There's absolutely nothing more that any of us or he could have done

literally everywhere he goes and gets recognized by fans it's the first thing out of their mouths. The fans would not let this die and because he's such a fantastically nice guy, he really tried to make it happen. Maybe you're right he shouldn't have promised anything but he did try.

I just don't understand how that would be possible? He has no songwriting credits, no masters to own, music is not management material either. I just don't see how songs that she wrote and produced during a certain period of time could be affected by the change in her management

I understand, but I think things would have gone down differently if she didn't launch and make her career off of fan interaction and be the pioneer in popstar "fandoms". And then one day just decide to peace out.

I believe the inaction has caused more "shenanigans" than anything else.

ARTPOP ACT II will never see the light of day officially. Why?

 

1. There is no way her label is going to dish out (dare I say) 6 or 7 figures worth of money to release a project connected to a project that is STILL commonly referred to as "ARTFLOP"? Yall remember #ARTFLOP don't you? Ok.

2. The myth is ACT II (and the Venus video) has been sitting there all produced and ready for release for the past DECADE. A DECADE. If her label didn't release ACT II a few years ago after ARTPOP had its lil viral moment, why would they release it now?

 

Yall are stuck is the past waiting for Gaga to give you another cutesy "The FameGa" era, ARTPOP ACT II, to release that mythical Venus video and some album called "White Rose"? Good luck with that. Right Gaga?

   Fans VASTLY misunderstand how much stake management and labels have in an artists recordings. Plus every single hand that touches a song. It’s hard enough to get an album out period - let alone having to visit back 10 years and an entirely different management team ago.
 

   Also add into the equation that not every song from the ARTPOP sessions was made from scratch with producers - there may be songs that have been reused in different capacities for other artists. We already know for example production from PARTYNAUSEOUS is shared with the now released “Hologram” from Vox Lux. Or that “Nothing On” went out to other artists after it didn’t get released in the ARTPOP era and now Addison Rae put it out. 
 

   There’s just too much nearly impossible work that would have to be done that is outside of Gaga, DJWS, Bobby or any one single persons  control.
