He wasn’t praised for his original storyline but for his innovative storytelling, I don’t think think Walt would want to sacrifice creativity for profits since he was known to overspend to get the right look he wanted. This though screams “let’s take what Twitter says to update our storyline because we can’t think for **** so this is easier.” I don't think I'm understanding. From the info we have so far, it's a lot different than the story we're used to, so whether for better or worse it sounds relatively creative. Twitter is mad about it so I doubt they took that under consideration. If they stuck with the original story, people would say it was uncreative and that they were perpetuating damsel in distress and little people stereotypes as well as indulging in r*pe culture. It's fine you adon't think you'll be a fan of the changes but either way, they were going to make enemies so at least they're sticking with progressive ideals rather than the alternative... right? 💜

I think because the intention is not pure but more of what’s trending now so we can profit off of it. It’s ironic since they released enchanted where it teaches girls to never stop believing in fantasy which is in essence what the brand is known for to now teaching kids that the only thing that is important is to do your duty ( be a career woman) and don’t fall in love because you’ll be too busy working anyways. Families especially parents have every right to complain if they are spending their hard earned money on. It’s the parents that will be taking their children to see these films wanting them to escape to the real world only for the films to emulate…real life? Not to mention Snow White and The Huntsman came out already so it’s not like they are being progressive more like tossing things into a blender and serving it up to their customers hoping they would like it. We disagree and that's okay. At least it's not mandatory for anyone to watch it and the original still exists. 💜
