It's actually so much worse and more sinister than that. These GOP are true traitors to the country. This is an attack on US institutions and the government as a whole. The main thing they are achieving - and it is WORKING - with a huge percentage of people around the world is turning impeachment into a political game. Impeachment is really intended to be a sacred, last resort power of Congress. Since they can't remove Donald's impeachments, they can only attack the validity of Congress and reduce something like impeachment to a petty game. It's really despicable and shows a complete lack of respect for the country, its institutions and the constitution. They're literal traitors. They hate the country. It's just another way to normalize Donald's lawlessness. But it works for them. Until more people wake up, at least. Hunter did have a contract with Burisma. That is not illegal. At all. It's shitty that people in Hunter's position can sell their last name, but it's a reality. It makes sense for a company to have someone like a Biden on their board - it gives them an air of legitimacy. It's smoke and mirrors, but it's an effective business strategy. Not sure it's "corruption" because influence was only implied. Joe never lied about Hunter being on Burisma's board. There were not shadow payments, or bribes or anything like that. The only "lie" that came out regarding burisma is a minor one that probably wasn't even a lie. Joe said he never spoke to Hunter's associates. In reality, Hunter called Joe during a meeting and Joe said hello. Nobody involved is claiming it was anything more than hellos, and there's actually no proof that Joe knew who he was talking to. He simply answered his son's phone call.
