Unions are the reason you have days off and lunch breaks. They're the reason you have holidays,  unemployment benefits, and reasonable shift lengths. They're the reason if your workplace falls into disrepair, you don't have to keep working until a falling beam kills you. They're the reason your co-worker isn't an 11 year old with missing fingers due to heavy machinery accidents. 

So maybe let's put some respect on unions or at least shut up when you think you might have something negative to say about them when a TV show you like gets postponed because of a strike or whatever. Grow up. 

Edit: Except maybe American police unions. Disrespect them all you want 🥳

Honestly, kind of weird that out of the hundreds or articles, you couldn't understand a single one. Just feels like a common theme on the internet these days to need to be spoon fed information, there's a startling lack of comprehension.

It sounds like English is not his first language…

He was just asking someone to explain it in more simple language.

Sure, what I'm saying is that there are literally dozens of articles explaining it in plain language for people who are unaware of how the entertainment industry works. And there's also the ability to take words/paragraphs that you don't understand and put them through a translator. It's just weird to be like "i have no idea what the strike is about" and claim you couldn't understand a single thing you read.... like, how would any of us, who are not in the industry, describe it any better than someone who is? Lol, logic. Teen Vogue, of all journalistic entities, literally did such a good job of explaining in easy to understand language.

Ok so now that only sag is on strike does that mean her show (and other day & late night talk shows) gets to come back or do they have to wait until that strike is over too??

Same thought. Does anyone know if she’s a SAG member, but I’m certain she might be. Cuz if she is, then she can’t come back.
