River 85,494 Posted June 10 Share Posted June 10 Mufasa is a jerk Scar didn't kill Mufasa, it was Simba's stupidity Simba is a cold heart murderer Pinnochio is not a kids friendly movie The new villains are not pure evil, we can even say that they are just a misunderstood people with sketchy motives but not a born evil like the old villains. Hook is actually the good guy, Peter is creep that steals kids from their parents and has some grown up daddy issues Mulan 2 was a mistake and turned Mulan into a housewife Cinderella 2 is better than the first. 4th Street 1,282 Posted June 10 Share Posted June 10 (edited) The Queen from Snow White is one of the most incredible disney villians of all time and that mirror is blind as a bat if it seriously thinks Snow is more fair than the queen. She is strikingly beautiful, tall, elegant, dressed magnificently yet cold, calculating and ruthless. I am bored to death by Snow and the Dwarves but I could watch the Queen all day long, she does not have that many scenes yet she left such a lasting impression on me as a kid. She is responsible for the obvious best scene in the movie. Starmie25 6,093 Posted June 10 Share Posted June 10 * Sadly Disney in the 00s was pumping out so many original movies - Atlantis, Lilo & Stitch, Brother Bear etc, however they underperformed due to the general public being more drawn to Dreamworks and PIXAR (CGI) flicks. * Pinnochio, Hunchback, Tarzan, Fantasia need their ratings reworked because there's genuinely some very unsettling scenes in those movies, especially Hunchback of Notre Dame. * I think the first half of Lion King > second half * The original Winnie the Pooh (1970s) deserves more credit. * The Princess and the Frog deserves to be "little mermaid", "Aladdin" level status * The 2010s cgi animation style is still not my cup of tea (frozen, tangled) * Disney should've kept Elsa as the villain * GAGA Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
