We know she promoted Gag Order entirely on her own and with her own connections: the art exhibit, the visuals, merch, etc. It feels like she was very much left to her own devices for this album and era and I honestly love what she has produced. It won't light up the charts, but I love the music. I was worried it would be too pointed, too dark, but it's a very beautiful record that I've had on repeat.
