I was considering taking a risk and ordering it from saturn.de

It's such a weird misprint, not only the blank part but the text is also bigger

Idk if I buy it being a “misprint” it has just the gazing ball with just the appearance of a monochrome blue. The only way it could possibly be a misprint is if someone isolated the blue from a mask of the gazing ball in photoshop and then made all layers under it non visible and then sent that to be printed by mistake. But that doesn’t make sense because this is a 10 year old album the artwork shouldn't need editing of that sort at this point. It cant be a printer error of just blue being printed because theres more blue tones in the image than that and for printing it wouldn't be a blue of this tone. it would be just cyan from the entire image. Something is super odd regardless if it's an error or intentional.

i think it has smth to do with the fact that the blue ball is made from a different kind of paper (some sort of extra gloss) and therefore the printer might have printed only that part... idk
