I thought the performance was really good, but the performance of it at my Houston date was even better

I watched all of them on video. Man I wasn't able to attend but that song in the end was telluric. Cosmic. Each and every gig.

Anyway, there was pressure for Gaga to perform. She did it in a middlefingered way. Probably a bit of Harley was there, sluggering somewhere in her cerebellum... And now were up for the wait. More than ever.

Wow The back half was so amazing!!!

This was the best Oscar’s in recent memory hands down. Everything came together in the end I was so emotional

-Daniels proving anything is possible

-Brendan Fraser the comeback kid.

-MICHELLE FRIGGEN YEOH!!

-Jessica Chastain, Halle Berry, Michelle Yeoh leaving arm in arms. The first black actress and first Asian actress to win best actress :excited:

-Stephanie Hsu was me

-Ke Huy Quan cheering on Harrison Ford and then their embrace :messga:, then cut to Steven Spielberg rooting both of them :messga::messga:

-First science fiction film to win best picture?!?

When the Oscars get it right it is magic!

Nope. Dr Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, Star Wars and E. T. won best picture before. But none since 40 years...

Truly so emotionally charged for me too! I cried a little at so many wins (and losses such as Angela Bassett's and Gaga's) I'm happy to forget last year ever happened :vegas:

I guess I have to watch EEAAO now.

I was so late to watching it but had wanted to for sometime and finally did. It is a beautiful, funny masterpiece and the ending I was in tears since one of the main themes are parent/child relationships. The themes in this film are beautiful and I highly recommend you see it, it deserves all these awards!

I'm absolutely in the minority here, but I'm gonna go ahead and say: no, you don't.

They were all nominated, but they didn't win.
