It did look like a last-minute job, but she had to do something, so I think she went back to basics to try to channel how she felt when she wrote the song, and she wouldn't have been glam when she wrote it. And I thought she sounded great. It was supposed to sound raw and it did. The techicians will do their thing and tell me it sounded a bit strained or a bit pitchy here and there.
