Emma and Evan had a singular fight in 2013 that went too far on both sides. Police were called over the disturbance and saw them hitting each other but arrested only Emma because Evan had the bite marks. Evan didn't press charges (nor vice versa). They reconciled, and they continued dating for a few years, even got engaged at one point.

It's not comparable to Chris Brown where he had a gruesome abusive outburst and a series of other awful actions for years to come, to multiple women.

Chris brown has a lengthy history of violence, harassment, alleged rape , alleged assualt, homophobia, sexism , colorism among other things. His personality is extremely disturbing and dark , the way he is gleaming over the fact that he almost beat someone to the point of death that she ran out of the car begging for her life and was left bloody is beyond me , sure it happened years ago but his behaviour since then has even deteriorated. It is truly shameful that people still defend him and even more shameful that he continues to capitalise off the fact that there's already a bias against African Americans to continue to deflect responsibility for his horrible track record.

Also The celebrities he sighted had one off cases and some of their careers are basically nonexistent today, they dont have the platform to spew stupid **** like he is doing right now.

People like him and kanye try to play the race card and deflect from the shitty things they have done.
