Cavadour 1,894 Posted February 4, 2023 Share Posted February 4, 2023 What an incredibly skilled drummer she was. So rare. Fact is, she was drumming on the early Carpenters tracks, while singing too. Karen's exhibitions on stage, behind huge drumkits are spectacular (lots on YT). She was a beautiful woman too. I was so in love. Losing her to what was pretty much unknown as illness then, anorexia, was so tragic to witness. I don't listen much to Karen today. It makes me so sobby. She had an unforgettable angel's voice.
