Not really. They'll have a holiday break, so Joaquin will probably only be filming about a week and a half or two weeks without Gaga. Also, Gaga being the lead actress doesn't mean she will have equal screen time. 'Lead' is kind of a nebulous term nowadays, and considering the first one was so heavily focused on Joaquin I sort of doubt the sequel will change that much and give Gaga 50% of the screen time. It could very well be like Zoe Kravitz's role in the most recent iteration of The Batman.

well it's a sequel and it's going to need time to show us what happens after the end of the first one before we get a new lead character popping up so would make sense tbf
