CannaeDrive 3,388
Product endorsement or not, that is irrelevant. That commercial would be epic because of Gaga, not because of some sh*t Pepsi. As long as we have a legendary video with Gaga, that's all it matters. :nacho: "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas

ck105 178
So you guys wouldn't have a problem with Gaga doing this even though it would make her look dishonest, exploited and hypocritical? She makes millions already, so why would she need more hawking a product she likely doesn't use? Am I to believe that a fit pop star like Gaga or Beyonce would regularly drink a high-calorie, high-sugar soft drink? That would be like a healthy person endorsing cigarettes or a fitness model endorsing junk food. Endorsing a product is basically saying that you use it regularly and are giving credibility to it. How can you really say that if you don't use it much let alone at all? Did Brad Pitt do that Chanel No. 5 ad because he really uses a ladies perfume or because he got paid $7 million? Does a fit athlete like Lebron James endorse Dunkin Donuts because he eats high-calorie, fatty donuts when he has to be in shape on the basketball court? How would you guys feel if Gaga compromised the integrity of one of her songs by changing lyrics to hawk a product like Michael Jackson and Garth Brooks did for Pepsi and Dr. Pepper? There's nothing inherently wrong with a celebrity making money, but doing it with commercial endorsements makes it seem cheap, dishonest, tacky, sleazy, exploited, hypocritical and unnecessary. She has been hypocritical about a lot of things, so why stop with something like this? She could do it for a charity and spin it as a UN humanitarian fundraiser with something that makes serious money rather than just ask for donations. She has had product placement in her work before anyway. If she does something like this, good for her investments and publicity. If she doesn't, good for her image and perception in the eyes of her fans who will probably follow her either way. Silence those demons... . 🖤

Of course fat chance that will happen. You'll never see a celebrity endorse a product for free or do it for charity. If she wanted to do something for charity, then why hawk a product to do it? That makes no sense.

Fiendman 206
Just like Michael. Hmm, I'm not sure I'd be supportive of this, I'd rather she just focuses on her own work, but she'd make a ton of money from it, so that'd be nice for her!
TheMadridHash 4
ya'll need to understand gaga is a POP singer, ya'll acting cray-cray about her being involved in Product placement, i mean, get real Pop artists that are successful sooner or later become a brand, gaga has already became one, she' known for mentioning her designers all the time, wich means she is half of the time pushing their product, her new perfume, her new articles, she is a POP singer, ok ? get real and stop thinking gag is the re-incarnation of Da Vinci

Does a fit athlete like Lebron James endorse Dunkin Donuts because he eats high-calorie, fatty donuts when he has to be in shape on the basketball court? you do Know that most ATHELETES eat junk food on an almost Regular basis, i'm not talking about models who need every muscle to stand out, even Michael phelps admitted that he had pizza and Burgers on a regular basis because of high amount of calories they need(because they burn so many) so if they eat regular food they would need a ton **** of food to actually acomplish those numbers of calories, for most athelets it's almost quite regular to eat junk food specially when they are on big training periods like Pre-Season and stuff like that
