We can believe the accuser and still support Shangela until proven guilty. 
that being said, apparently the accuser tried to extort money from Shangela. 
the accuser is also out of the country. 
I think we should let both parties do what they have to do. 
I’m sure HBO, the show and her folk are involved in the situation, whatever it is. 
is also a work safety issue too. So is very very complicated. 

I keep thinking of what happened to Ricky Martin and how fast everyone wanted to cancel him. I feel like we can believe the accuser and support the accused until proven guilty.

I have to be honest and Im very biased with her and im heartbroken to hear this but then if this is true, I hope the victim finds justice.

As with any SA allegations they should open an official investigation and not just leave it with a tweet and let the accusation float in the air hanging over her head. 

She is also in a competiton right now and it could be a smear campaign against her and trans people in general succeeding. 

But as I said, I am biased and I hope they truly investigate and the truth will come to light.

Being a professional has literally NOTHING to do with whether or not you’re a rapist but you know what’s funny? She’s literally not one. There’s been several accounts of her being hard to work with. Jasmine left the set of the Christmas special because Shangela couldn’t be bothered to ever be on time. Many people have reported her being very insistant and touchy with gogo dancers and the likes.
