Doja literally said she isn’t working with him after the contract is up and she signed with him super young before everything was mainstream. She doesn’t support Luke. Kim does.

Honestly I constantly see him brought up all over Twitter and other platforms. In my opinion directly commenting at artists like this is for attention. Whether they actually believe in the cause or not, they want it known that they do. It has come to the point that the only time I hear about Kesha is in relation to her abuser. I don’t think her fans meant to do that at all, but that can happen if the subject is constantly a fight or negative . Now that’s her main narrative. In the end, it seems his employers don’t care and still pay him no matter how much people fight about it. He indirectly still makes money off of the people who fight about this because the industry allows it. I don’t see that changing until he dies.

The hate towards Kim working w/ Dr Luke is way LOUDER than it is for Dr. Luke being an actual abuser himself…

Do you see how that’s odd? Weird? Twisted? It’s almost as if you care more about vilifying a trans woman than you do about the actual abuses that Dr Luke has perpetuated 🤔

Let’s not pretend Bobby himself isn’t always liking her posts on Instagram. I expect him to have a better scope and judgement of Kim and whatever her situation and working relationships may be than anyone sitting on social media. It’s a small tight industry after all.

… because no one is a Dr Luke fan. There aren’t any “Dr Luke appreciation threads” on here to comment hate on. 

It’s not in my power to make Luke lose his job. That power remains in the hands of people who chose whether or not to work with him.

So yeah, I can lose my time hating on Dr Luke but what will that do? Meanwhile the “hate” might convince Kim to drop him. And eventually when he gets dropped by absolutely everyone, he’ll be gone.

I promise you there was enough hate for this guy on any thread about the Kesha trial when they were happening.

I hear you, but it sounds like what you’re saying is “I can’t take out my frustration on Dr Luke directly so I’ll take it out on someone vulnerable who’s in proximity to him” and I just can’t wrap my head around how that’s fair or kind towards Kim. She’s just trying to make a living in a world where all odds are stacked against her.

A big part of the problem is the scope of his reach is almost incomprehensible. It’s not a matter of simply dropping him. He isn’t *just* a producer. He has involvement in publishing and has his own sub division of a label amongst other aspects. Which is in part why Kesha herself was so locked in. 
 

Kim’s publishing deal with Luke started in 2016 effectively when she released her first single - but there’s no telling how long the deal was in the works for. 2016 is also when the Kesha v Luke case really started being on everyone’s radar. 
 

Its also worth noting that Kim’s main producer has been Aaron Joseph- and he is the one who worked for Luke even tighter than Kim and the reason why Kim is attached to Luke in the first place. And I don’t know what’s up with his credits but notice almost everything he produces results in Luke getting a production credit.

 

Aaron also was a producer on Super Freaky Girl - which may seem like nothing. But Nicki tweeted and attacked Latto for working with Luke - seemingly unaware of her current song having him credited. So we take that and couple that knowledge with the fact Doja has let it slip that Luke is pretty much just credited and never involved in the actual production on her songs - we have a better idea of what exactly his role is on all these artists - it’s that of a leech. There are plenty of artists that are being taken advantage of and being used to pad his wallet and take heat for him while he does nothing other reap the financial benefit. 
 

I know this is a lot, but it’s just that Luke literally is facing no consequences and artists are still getting tied to his name regardless of whether they work with him or not. They are the ones taking all the heat, taking all the brunt of peoples anger now, meanwhile Luke is sitting at home with his money unbothered and staying quiet because he knows if he just lays low everyone will go in for easier targets.
