The SuperBowl is for seasoned artists that are considered legends by the GP. Pink, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Adele, Avril Lavigne etc all could do it before someone like Dua. Even Ariana is more deserving right now tbh

If they want someone young, Miley is the best option.

Too soon imo.
I even thought it was too soon for The Weeknd.  

Should have at least a decade of public presence before being considered.  Her debut album didn’t come out till 2017.  She only has two albums out atm.  

Super Bowl HTS is suppose to be a celebration of your career.

I'm sure Dua would put on a great show but it's still too early for her. Maybe in 5 years.

Ariana would be suitable, but she will be filming Wicked at the time. Miley would be a great choice, she's an amazing live performer, is a household name, has a string of well known hits, and is expected to release a new album next year. P!nk is another good choice, but I think she's made it clear that she doesn't want to do the Superbowl.

I think she said she won’t do it until she’s done re-recording all her records.  Because artists always see a big jump in their catalog sales after doing SB, she doesn’t want her scooter-stolen records to grab those coins after she performs.  She needs her own versions to be available.
