ryanxjensen 134 Posted August 6, 2022 Share Posted August 6, 2022 Ticketmaster Canada makes WAY more money from selling premium seats than it would if it were all GA it's just annoying sometimes, for example Pet Shop Boys tickets are nearly $1200 for good floor seats (when overseas, the show was obviously General Admission) I understand the convenience of having a seat on the floor but they really don't care other than the fact they can also resell those seats again and again as 'Gold' & 'Platinum' pricing and collect the ticket fees making our concerts sometimes 5-10x more expensive than other markets. Gaga made a whole thing about the lighting and whatnot and the only dates that had it open were done in stadiums that lacked the closing roof.
