Yeah eventually we saw it and it wasn't scary, at all. 

I was disappointed but not for the lack of scary scenes, but because someone told me it was like "Signs" and that is like one of my fave movie ever (with the Fourth Kind, always about aliens) and it wasn't at all llike that.

You basically go in thinking you'll see Encounters of the Third Kind, and it turns out it's actually Jaws in the sky. Loved it, saw it twice.
