Morphine Prince 94,060 Posted July 6, 2022 Author Share Posted July 6, 2022 Her intent was to say “Christian Taliban” - which is something I’ve seen used by some to refer to these extreme right wing figures. The issue I see is posts like these point to the “other” aka extremists that are mostly “foreign” when the reality is the extremists in the US don’t need to be changed to be seen as extreme. This is just falling into pointing the finger at “others” and ultimately just damages regular Muslim people who want nothing to do with the Taliban or other extremists. 8 7 Link to post Share on other sites
