Not the last post has the answer I would have given :deadbanana: It's The butterfly effect for me too.

I used to be quite obsessed with Harry Potter but thinking of what I‘ve rewatched like 30 or more times over the years it must be this masterpiece.

Second and third place would probably be Nocturnal Animals and Pan‘s Labyrinth

I saw Francis Copella’s Apocalypse Now during lockdown…despite it being a very grim film I was astounded, astonished and bewildered at how engrossing and gripping it was for a film from the 70s… some of the shots and scenes are so mind blowing I really understood why that film is lorded as one of the best ever

I loved this film so much. No film has ever made me feel as deeply as this one. I couldn't offer a single criticism if I tried

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Hands down, one of my absolute favourite movies has to be 'Precious'

It reminds me a lot of my own chilhood and youth, growing up in a f****d up system, raised by a mother who has absolutely no love and empathy and doesnt even want the best for you.

This movie is heartbreaking, heavy, not easy to digest and very in-your-face. And it makes me feel seen and not alone.

I hate to watch it, i really do. Cause it hits me so hard everytime, and I need a few days after watching it, to feel comfortable with myself and my past again, but thats why I love it. It really does something to me, thats horrible and beautiful the same time.
