KeepOnSwimming 408 Posted July 5, 2022 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Hands down, one of my absolute favourite movies has to be 'Precious' It reminds me a lot of my own chilhood and youth, growing up in a f****d up system, raised by a mother who has absolutely no love and empathy and doesnt even want the best for you. This movie is heartbreaking, heavy, not easy to digest and very in-your-face. And it makes me feel seen and not alone. I hate to watch it, i really do. Cause it hits me so hard everytime, and I need a few days after watching it, to feel comfortable with myself and my past again, but thats why I love it.
