i mean i'm a teenager and i know alanis' entire discography back to back. it's not an age thing, just a case of whether you buy into current trends or not. i doubt a 'trendy' teenager in 2010 or 2005 would know and listen to much alanis morrisette. it's just different scenes, and if alternative music hadn't slipped from the mainstream, i think the song would be more known amongst gen z.
