But in all seriousness, I don't approve of his use of the word, especially in "insulting" context, but I also know deep down he's pro-LGBT, considering he was probably one of the first rappers ever to collaborate with an openly gay icon (Elton John) in the early 2000s. And Elton still speaks fondly of him till this day.
