Gaga x Orea was good marketing and u had Gaga on the cookies… which is a Unique Selling Point; a very simple and convincing one. Also this is meant for fans, Gaga’s fans are a demographic proven they will spend a lot of money to support Gaga. And very appealing to the public because let’s be real: Oreo is an iconic brand. So any tie up with them will be high profile and worth millions in return.
