I doubt the actors/producers/directors are on twitter for the most part, at least the former for their own mental health...and if they are it is probably their social media manager 95% of the time. The issue is sometimes the twitter drama turns into actual headlines, like with Anne Hathaway, but again I doubt they are keeping up like us stans or film twitter and probably miss a short Vulture piece on her...and at the end of the day the Anne Hathaway stuff was a lot worse as was ARTPOP in turn of any public backlash. Back in 2012-2013 there was a pretty severe, often sexist backlash to her Oscar campaign that people called "Hathahate"...when the worst thing she did was act like a theater kid (like Gaga). The backlash was so insane and disproportionate that it was probably comparable to ARTPOP, but at least in ARTPOP's case Gaga was being kind of controversial...in Anne's case she was just being a theater kid at times. Honestly, it was far worse than whatever petty, mean bullsh*t film twitter throws at Gaga right now or whatever there current target is...the Hathaway thing was not just in twitter but in a lot of actual news outlets and was completely deranged. Afterwards, some journalists even admitted they acted deranged about her and that it was embarrassing that they published what were arguably hate pieces on her in actual news outlets.
