She has an intense personality, so naturally when she’s on screen it will get amplified because she’s “on”.

I’m sure in her day-to-day her personality isn’t what we see on screen. Also, people change quite a bit in 5 years, especially someone who has had a life like Gagas.

Dunno if you guys know this, but she takes antipsychotics and those can alter your speech and demeanor slightly too. I don't think there's anything fake about her. There is a part of her that is a bit calculating about what she'll say in front of cameras because she learned the hard way throughout her life that you have to be careful with what you say.
