Teletubby 116,859
Adele show postponed because of disputes, not COVID Multiple sources connected to Caesars Palace claim the real reason the show is on ice is because Adele's displeased with the production. The folks at Caesars were "shocked" when Adele canceled at the last minute. Mind you, crews have been hard at work on every aspect of the show since at least December. One source said this was not a matter of them trying to pull it together in the 11th hour -- TMZ sources told Adele wasn't ever satisfied with the results. As for COVID, our Caesars sources say they can't speak to Adele's crew, but the Caesars' crew was ready, willing and able, and they say they can't understand why she waited until the last minute to pull the plug. Caesars is hoping to pull off at least some of Adele's February slate of shows. source Sources now claim the British star cancelled the residency after a disagreement over set design, principally an onstage pool she was required to perform over during one of her numbers. An insider told The Sun: 'When she saw the finished design, she refused to take part. Adele described the pool as a ''baggy old pond'' and refused, point blank, to stand in the middle of it. 'The intention was to fill it with water on the set as she was lifted up on a crane-type mechanism, creating the illusion she was floating on water.' source Adele's team refused to use house equipment at the Colosseum 1234 It is said that Adele and her team insisted on replacing the state-of-the art sound system at the venue's Colosseum theatre with their own and also demanded that they install an entirely new video system. The existing system was considered good enough by previous acts such as Mariah Carey, Madonna and Celine Dion. Vegas journalist Scott Roeben, the Founder of Vital Vegas , said: 'Apparently, Adele and her team refused to use the house equipment in The Colosseum. 'The theatre has a massive video screen, very high tech, but Adele's team insisted upon an entirely new system – a larger screen, essentially built a few inches in front of the existing screen. 'Such demands not only drive up production costs but, at a time when supplies are disrupted, it's a recipe for disaster – in this case last-minute delays or cancellations. 'I also hear from a source that Caesars had to replace the cutting edge Meyer sound system and replace it with a different system for her.' Roeben added: 'It's being shared from those familiar with the situation that Caesars Palace was '100 per cent ready for her', so there are other forces at work here. source Spoiler Vital Vegas broke the story of her residency last July I had a hole in the pocket of my favourite coat And my love for @Juanlittlem dropped into the lining

Night Vision 2,878
To be honest, I get why people are annoyed at the last minute cancellation and I do think it could have been handled better, but the press have been very eager to start the Adele backlash era and the cries of "diva!" "she's changed!" ever since she lost weight. Some of this reporting is probably being exaggerated
alsemanche 87,245
This sounds like empty "accusations" to stir drama. So what if they wanted to use different equipment? There's nothing wrong with that, and the way it's reported makes it sound like something bad when it's not in any way. Illuminati 15,351
Sounds like reasonable demands. It's believable that they'd pay extra attention to sound considering Adele is all about it, there's no dancing or acrobatics or even that many props, it's just her voice and her talent so the sound has to be perfect to their liking. Mocchi 2,258
So they are trying to make is sound like she cancelled her residency because she wanted a better equipment?
gumzy3000 6,425
So she just wanted better equipment and she offered to pay for it and do the setup but they are being this petty? Sheesh... they need to chillax trolly troll troll

Supersonic 49,375
Corporate America is so embarassing. Oh no how frivolous, a performer has asked a billion dollar conglomerate to get a better sound system, that all performers in the future will benefit from! Then the performer backed out of performing because she had common sense about not wanting to endanger the general public, her team and herself and she's financially well-off enough, so she can't be intimidated to go back to work like the rest of the enslaved American public. The neo-liberals and neo-facist Republicans are gonna eat that **** up. How very dare she rise up to the Corporate Elites!!!!!
