Allegedly it helps to make the algorithm prioritize TV songs instead of the old ones, not sure how true that is though but it's been done by other artists as well like Katy.

It helps with the streaming numbers and promotion of the album and the songs. Artists do this to keep popping up to their users on streaming platforms and to motivate old and new listeners to play the songs and keep the album and songs charting. Basically extra coinz for Miss Tay
