FfFfFfFF 50,374
Weber State University (WSU) and Wasatch Domestic Waterfowl Resource (WDWR) recently received honors for their work that rescued geese and ducks this fall. An In Defense of Animals press release reported that, in September, WSU and WDWR joined forces to protect at-risk waterfowl while Weber State’s Ada Lindquist Plaza water feature was drained for maintenance. After 12 hours, the volunteers safely gathered 30 ducks and 34 geese and WDWR found “forever homes” for every last one. Source - 1, 2
