I laughed during it partially to relieve how nervous it made me feel :deadbanana: and like i said in another thread I can't hear L'aibiamo now without remembering it

To be honest, i laugh cause everything was to much lol, the scene, sounds and music...crazy, bizarre. And then cuts to the weeding, pure, sweet with bride ... Hilarious!

Yeah it was a crescendo of total ridiculous humor and I cackled at the white dress

- The scene at Palazzo Serbelloni when she met Maurizio for the first time and he said that she looks like Elisabeth Taylor

- The sex scene (wild and funny with that music in the background :ladyhaha:

- The wedding, especially when she makes her promises to Maurizio speaking in italian, she's perfect. I'm half Italian and half British, it gave me chills to hear her italiano (in every scene, she def has an italian accent not russian)

- The moment between Patrizia and Domenico del Sole at Maurizio and Patrizia's house

- The "did you steal anything Paola?, Sorry, i'm trying to teach Alessandra to not touch other people belonging" and that that spoon (the spoon deserves a nomination at the Oscars :laughga:)

- The last scene is iconic and shows how ****ing good she is as an actress

Best scene was when Patrizia shows up at Maurizio's house, begging for him to come home. It was a heartbreaking scene but I felt both actors sold it very well. Also the Christmas gift exchange scene :bradley:

G U C C I

There are little moment between her and Maurizio that are so adorable to me and the scenes stick out so much to me:

-when they are in the laundry room and Aldo calls to invite them.

-when they leave the party and she looks like the most gorgeous woman on earth in that little car and white dress.

- pulling him into the tub with her

-the entire scene where she tells him she pregnant made me smile like an idiot.

The way she went from such an adorable young woman to a wife you don’t want to mess with is insane and the way she read Paola and Dominico were incredible scenes. And of course kicking out the grieving girlfriend after the funeral was chefs kiss.

Her acting in this film was so incredible and makes me so excited to see what role she will take next

Just A Holy Fool

My favourite scenes were all Patrizia and Paula, amazing chemistry between Gaga and Camille.

How savage was it when Patrizia embraces Paula after the assassination and then asks the butler to show Paula out of “her” house.

Obviously when she told her guard to escort Paola out of her house after Maurizio's death, and pushed her away. That part was the highlight, the whole theater thought the same.

Edit: Also when Patrizia was getting out of car and surrounded by paparazzi right after the assassination. That was probably the only scene where I saw part of her as Gaga, and she obviously owned it.

Spoiler

The “Paparazzi music video esk” flashes during the last Gucci runway in the film. My partner was like “Gaga looks spooky” when she kept popping up abruptly between the camera flashes.

I adored every scene with Gaga, her research into the character shows in every freaking scene. Since she was the narrator and through line, I wish the film followed what happened with her as she was arrested because it seemed like we went a long time without her. Which is fine, since we needed the downfall of the Gucci family being involved with the business, but it felt a bit clunky. I loved the scene with Aldo signing his shares away. I appreciate that it didn't feel like a 2.5 hour long movie. It definitely could have been tightened a tad, but the Oscar buzz can build with a long runtime.

I absolutely hated Leto's performance, it felt so camp when everyone else seemed to be directed in an entirely different fashion (pun intended ahehehe) and that choice wasn't my cup of tea - BUT I will say, the long shot of Leto and Pacino walking to the car after Pacino gets released from prison was hilarious.

Gaga's red dress club look was so stunning I nearly gasped out loud (my mouth was filled with soft pretzel bites so I couldn't).

ALL OF IT!

Everyone has already mentioned many an iconic scene so I will just add that I enjoyed Maurizio cleaning the truck and having a lil water fight with one of the other guys :enigma:

Many but the Tom Ford fashion show scene and the way it showed Patrizzia lurking in the dark. It was the creepiest Gaga moment in her career

The last scene was great too. She was Patrizzia, literally.

Of course the scene with spoon and Gags' expressions. I truly hope for an oscar for her

My thoughts exactly!!!
