DrewPa 3,650 Posted November 26, 2021 Share Posted November 26, 2021 I have to admit the movie kinda grew on me (I didn't watch it again since the first time) Spoiler Thinking about it, it is not a movie specifically about Patrizia, or Gucci or the family, it's more about privilege, self-entitlement, and the exploitation of the poorer classes who are sucked dry of money and energy to make a living for the wealthier class. In this sense the scene of the market contrafactions is indicative, and indeed a very beautiful one, because it is no coincidence that Patrizia, who comes from a less privileged social class, is the only one who feels annoyed when the others, who feel privileged by birth, think that they will never mix with 'the common people' anyway.
