New Shepard’s 18th mission, NS-18, will lift off on Wednesday, today (October 13), carrying four astronauts, Dr. Chris Boshuizen, Glen de Vries, Audrey Powers, and starring "Star Trek" captain William Shatner, to space and back.

90-year-old William Shatner will become the oldest person to go to space, breaking the record set only recently by 82-year-old Wally Funk, who travelled on the New Shepard’s first crewed spaceflight in July.
