Smile is def the right answer here.

But Never Really Over deserves more credit. It is an amazing pop hit!!

I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong

Caution and Madame X should not be here. For someone in their 3rd, respectively 4th decade as a musician (at the time) , the albums did great.

I would’ve expected „Chromatica“ to be on that list… cuz lil managers have been complaining about that for the past 1,5 years.

oh wait, I forgot. Chromatica didn’t even have an era. :ohwell: :ladyhaha:

I’m kidding by the way! Chromatica had some great moments

imo Katy has the biggest drop I’ve seen. She went from 100 to a 10 so quick.

But Lotus was literally non-existent that people started calling Christina, Xtinct. Katy made a few people move. But there was no one in the room for Lotus. If Katy went from 100 to 10, Xtina went from 70 to 2.

Edit: Mess I actually changed my vote to Liberation. I had no idea what that even was and I just googled it and learned is a 2018 Xtina album apparently :bear:

The album debuted at number #140 on the US Billboard 200

Wow 140? :udidnt: I wonder what the sales number was to debut so low. I don’t know much about her but is she considered main stream? Where was her fan base??

Lotus. After the mess that was Bionic I’ll never forget how dragged she was when Lotus underperformed again even though all her fans were sure it was gonna be a comeback. It was a maniacal mess.

"what does that matter?"

well, one hit song does make your whole album successful

it's pretty obvious to me

and even if you erase stuff from TF and TFM, those records sold millions of copies

on their own, as albums

no one was adding any singles' numbers to that back in the day

it was separated, singles only promoted your record, not added to it's numbers

now people are streaming one single, before the album even comes out

then the rest is released, no one even heard a one song from it, but taaadaaa it says the album has millions of streams

like...

if just dance sold 10mln, but the fame just 1k, would you call it successful?

Yeah and NRO was a solo hit and no features on Smile.

Look, I don't really care as much as you do. I like Gaga and Katy. If you have a problem with Katy that's your issue.  Keep going off on your rants about hypothetical issues that aren't based on current rules of album releases. Go work for Billboard or Spotify and change the rules if you are  so unhappy.
