It was mainly bad constipation and it was poisoning me slowly, I wasn't hospitalised for it because my parents didn't notice it, but they did take me to a specialist, the doctor had me drink a lot of fiber drinks and it really helped me and now I am doing better, I just get stomach aches now, spending a lot of time on the toilet, and nausea Any/All Pronouns, Genderfluid🏳⚧
Mother of Puppies 34,248
I just have some minor stuff going on, but it's quite a list I have hypothyroidism and I have had to take medication for it ever since I was 19. I have a snapping hip (actually on both sides, but one side is a lot worse) which really affected me when I was about 25 - I thought I needed a hip replacement because it used to hurt so badly that I even passed out from the pain. Thankfully the pain went away, but the snapping and cracking is still there every day, every minute. I have pain in my legs and lower back almost all the time - especially at night or when I sit or lay down. Mostly my legs are aching. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I have a guess - I've had it for 1,5-2 years - maybe even before and I noticed last year cuz it got so bad that I couldn't sleep. I got used to it now, but the strange thing is that it disappeared when I was on holidays and came back once I was home again. (I guess it could be from sitting on my chair working and stress) I've got hay fever and there is something wrong with my nose cuz it's blocked most of the time, which is why I'm addicted to nasal spray. (Trying to get off of it currently) If I don't take nasal spray and my nose is blocked I tend to get a headache. And last but not least I got some mental stuff goin' on which is the worst - I have anxiety and I think also a mood disorder/depression (not quite sure what exactly) Call me LADY MOP & I'll mop the floor with you 🧹

sarahb 15,241
Chronic sinusitis, a 'pulled back muscle' that was supposed to heal after a few weeks but still hurts a year later, and I was diagnosed with ADHD but I recently realised what prompted me to get a diagnosis (lack of focus) was actually caused by anxiety so idk if I even have it
Healed My Heart 39,406
A whole bunch Most of my physical issues relate back to chronic stress from my mental health issues and the toll they've taken on my body. The biggest ones are various anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, OCD, binge eating disorder, an auto-inflammatory disorder, and chronic pain in my jaw joints and facial muscles due to clenching (I wear oral appliances for 16 hours a day to help). Lots of smaller issues that branch out from those things, like persistent headaches, nausea, dental issues, and side effects from the many prescription medications I take. I am infinitely grateful that I have good insurance. Doctors suspected I had IBS or some other stomach / digestive disorder when I was growing up, and I underwent a lot of invasive testing, but it was always inconclusive. I didn't realize until I was an adult that the stomach issues I experienced were all somatic symptoms of my severe anxiety. She/her 💗💜💙

Oriane 18,987
Nothing too bad fortunately. I've had extrasystoles/premature heartbeats (still don't know what the exact name in English is) for a few years, it's not serious, just sometimes my heart misses a beat and the following beat is felt as bigger... It's an uncomfortable sensation but it's not dangerous, it happens mostly when I'm stressed. I used to get colds very often, at least 3-4 times a year, at any time of the year, doctors think it was some kind of nasal hypersensitivity because I'm not allergic to anything. I'm really sensitive to strong toxic smells like perfume, cigarette, cleaning products. For some reason this has suddenly considerably slowed down, I have only had 2 colds in the past 5 years. Insomnia since I was 12, it got worse for the past 2 years, but I notice it got a bit better recently, I hope it stays like this. Probably social anxiety and depression that have hopefully improved. You popped my heart seams, all my bubble dreams

Rj Barker 3,317
As most of you know, I'm HIV+ but apart from that I'm a picture of health. I'm very grateful for the NHS and I feel bad for Americans that live in such a horrible system where people have to choose between food and healthcare cuz not everyone can afford it.
